Holi

Winter had not even bid goodbye
         when spring peeped in to say Hi.
With it came colors of all hues,
         celebrated as Holi the festival of colors.
Children ran here and there
         filling their balloons and pistols with water
So the passersby be beware.
         they are out for fun
And you will not be spared.
       So come on join in the fun
Take that red color,the blue or the green
       put it on the faces of your friends
And eat sweets to make these moments
        memorable and sweet.
